About me

I Love Soil.
I grew up around it, I feel it, I understand it – and always end up having some of it under my fingernails.
My name is Stefanie Hildmann and I work in Regenerative Land Management. I am a soil healer, coach and advocate – and last but not least, I am an author working as an educator about all things soil.
I fix problem soils – I have worked on radioactive soils in Fukushima, GMO-affected soils in Hawaii (BTW, GMO-affected soils are hands down the worst I have seen), and some other soil-dramas.
And I love helping all types of property owners – farmers, gardeners including market gardeners – and the like – to manage their properties always with soil health in mind.
What I like best?
Soil Health is economical.
To improve property performance and hence profitability is not expensive. My mission is to help you to find simple and affordable ways to restore and maintain soil health using practical, no-nonsense approaches.
Soil is essential for our life and complex – but never complicated! Soil health is not difficult — it’s just different for some.
It is really not that hard. I believe if someone makes it overly complicated, it’s worth questioning why.
Let’s keep it real, grounded and effective.

I grew up in Germany and still sport a decent German accent. The foundation of what I know today I learnt from my grandfather – he taught me counting by counting worms in soil samples. You will hear me talking about my grandfather a lot, and you will find many of his nuggets of wisdom in my videos, my remedies and my book Radical Soil Care.
I love nothing more than to foster an understanding of this amazing and important ecosystem underneath our feet.
